Question: I think I hair line fractured my thumb!?
i fell on my outstretched hand and my thumb is swollen and a little black and blue it doesn't hurt waaah wah only when i bend or twist it it is getting swollen by the hourWww@Answer-Health@Com

The exact same thing happened to me over the winter when I slipped on some ice!. You could either have a sprain or a fracture, they both have the same symptoms!. Black and blue bruising, swollen!. The best thing to do is to go the doctor!. They can do an x-ray and make sure it's not fractured!. Either way they'll probably put you in a splint to immobilize your thumb so you don't do more damage!. Putting an icepack on it and taking an aspirin will help with the swelling, but you still need to see a doctor!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
