Answers:
Do your best to trim off the bad bits of the toenail (it's better if somebody else can do this for you), trim it right back as much as you can without it bleeding!. Then eventually it should grow out and be fine!.

If you don't trim it back you might let yourself in for future problems like an incoming toenail!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to see a chiropodist, sounds like your nail bed was damaged and another nail is growing ,it will push the old one outwards and could become very painful!. See someone as soon as you can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will probably fall off on it's own as the new one starts to grow in!. Keep an eye on it as the new nail grows!. Keep it clean, if it doesn't seem to improve, see a doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm completely guessing, but I'd think it would work a little like teeth!. The new toenail may push the old one out, much like a permanent pushes a baby tooth out of the gum!. Otherwise, you should see a podiatrist, who would remove the old toenail using sterile tools and local anesthetic (so there would be no pain and no infection)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
