I Went To The Dentist About 3-4 Hours Ago For A Filling, And My Mouth Is Still Numb, My Lip Feels Fat Etc!.!. How Long Should It Take For My Mouth To Feel Normal Again!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It usually takes a few hours and depending how much novacaine they gave you, the effect may last longer!. It can take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours!. I just had work done yesterday on my mouth at 3pm and the stuff finally wore off around 8pm!. Hang in there it will back to normal soon!. It is a terrible feeling I know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it does vary depending on how much novocaine your doctor gave you, and where the shots were!. also people vary as to how sensitive they are to it (and how long it takes to wear off)!.
just keep remembering, it's WAY better than feeling the pain of the work without novocaine!!! (yes, my mom used to have fillings without novocaine courtesy of her mom!.)
