Question: Itchiness in splinter spot!.!?

I got a glass splinter under my foot over a week ago!. I removed and cleaned it with peroxide!. From that very first day its been itching, burning/aching/tingling and it's red!. Is that normal for a glass splinter!? Should I be concerned about this!? Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
