Question: Why does this happen to me, is it normal!?
Sometimes when I'm sleeping, I become aware that I am sleeping, and so try to move and wake up!.
But I can't move, I'm "paralysed", I try my hardest to move anything, even my finger!.!.!.but I never can!.
I'm aware that I'm "sleeping" and I can hear everything around me but I can't move!

It's the most horrible thing in the world, I start to panic and worry!.

Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
it's sleep paralysis, it's happened to me once, apparently it's your body's way of stopping you from physically doing what you are doing in your dreams!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's called Sleep Paralysis and I've had this and yes, it is flipping terrifying!!

It happened to me once, bizarrely I knew that it was S!.P!., and although scared as I couldn't move, blink or even breathe, I keep telling myself in my head over and over "This isn't real, just be calm, breathe, breathe"!. This actually helped and the horrid feeling slowly left and I was able to breathe and move again!.

Thankfully it didn't happen again, but as soon as you realise what's happening, try what I did and see if it works!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i know! happens to me all the time, like i'll be having a weird dream then i'll realize that this can never happen so i'm like it must be a dream! but then when i try to wake up, my brain is awake but my body's still asleep and i can't move it! sry your so scared!.!.!.!. i just usually wait until i wake up naturally!. my advice is just calm down and try to go back to sleep your body will wake up when it's good and ready!. well i've heard of like sometimes neurofeedback helps!.!.!. it's like when they put wires on your head and they monitor your brain waves!.!.!. and try to change things!. nothing dramatic!. i used to do it every wednesday!. and they trained my brain to stop giving me stomach aches!. because your brain is in controll of your whole body!. well i hope that helps! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It might just be in your head!. Tonight when you are sleeping have you husband, wife, mom, dad, or anyone go into your room and pretend to be having a conversation with you!. In the morning tell them what the subject was and what they were talking about!. If it is different then it is in your head if it is the same you should go to the doctor because you may have a sleeping disorder!. You should take sleeping pills so you fall into a deeper sleep!. I hope I helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This has happened to me twice - Sleep Paralysis I think its called!. It feels like someone is pressing you down stopping you from moving, you cant even open your mouth to scream!.

I think its perfectly normal and maybe occurs more often when you are going through a stressfull period in your life!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?

I hope this helps, try not to worry!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're dreaming that!. If you are aware, you're not sleeping!. If you're sleeping, you are not "aware" but your mind can be active!. Your active mind is visualizing a fear that you have!.

Knowing that it's not real, may help all by itself!. Just knowing so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you're dreaming that you're awake - i get this too and it is indeed scary 'til you get the hang of it - have a starWww@Answer-Health@Com

This is perfectly normal and will go away when you stop worrying about it!.
Used to happen to me too!. It's because your mind is between sleeping and being awake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
