IBS sufferer going on holiday?!

Question: IBS sufferer going on holiday!?
I suffer with IBS, i already know my "food triggers" (bread & sugar mainly) I want to strengthen my erm bowels before i go on holiday and while im on holiday, i have a sensitive tum any way so i dont want this to ruin my holiday! I am already on medication from my doc for when it gets bad (my IBS isnt as bad as some cases iv heard i dont suffer cramps mines more like hot & cold sweats with the feeling you need to go to the loo but also feeling like i want to throw up)!. I know to avoid water (ice cream, ice cubes etc) and foods that arent Hot enough, I just want to give my tum a healthy boost to reduce having a "crap" holiday!. If you do recommend anything can you tell me where i can get it from!? Thank you xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Acidophilius supplements - you can get them from health food stores like Holland Barrett!. They are a form of good bacteria - i suffer from IBS too and they really help!. When I'm taking them, the cramps and bloatedness all but disappear, and they help to strengthen your gut!.

Have a nice holiday!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Let me guess - mebeverine 500mg, right!.!.!? Where are you going!? I've got IBS very severely (hence the mention of mebeverine as that's what I take)!.

I wouldn't anything more than usual (says she who's not been abroad for about 15 years!) Just avoid your triggers and drink bottled water - and make sure food is properly cooked!. Oh yes don't eat salad either as that will have been washed in tap water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

- Eat plenty of fibre ( fruits and vegetables )
- Drink water
- Try to relax and de-stress
- And make sure that you have enough meds for your holidayWww@Answer-Health@Com
