Question: Making ligaments more active!?
is there an excercise, stretch, or food that will make ligaments stronger or less prone to breaking!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I've never had anyone ask this question!.!.!.!.but the answers is kinda!.

This part of the answer is a little complicated so bear with me!.!.!.!.
It is possible that when you are young and healthy, ligaments to a small extent, can be strengthened through the bodies natural ability to adapt to stress!. Over time the body absorbs and lays down new fibers (many tissues of the body can do this, bone, joint capsule, muscles - although with muscles the fibers get larger not more !.!.!.at least no one has proven that we actually get more cells yet) !.!.!.!.so if you stress a tissue it is feasible that over time it will lay down some additional fibers to deal with the added stress!. The problem is that it is slow to happen and often we overstress structures and cause damage!.

So, what can we really do to help ligaments be stronger!? You can strengthen the muscles around the ligament (or joint)!.

I hope all that made sense!.!.!.!.!. What area are you wanting to make stronger!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

ligaments are tough tissues that connect bones to eachother!. they are only needed between bones that are very large or that have the need to absorb shock and tension!. they are naturally strong and are difficult to break!. yet occaisonally they become damaged and will take a long time to heal!. there is little that can be done to prevent injury but having strong muscles takes the stress off of the ligament!. there is no exercise for them other than daily movements of your joints!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
