Was I about to pass out? Shock?!
Question: Was I about to pass out!? Shock!?
So I had foot surgery yesterday and I was changing the dressing, which was extremely disgusting, a lot of blood and huge open gaping wound on the bottom of my foot!. All of the sudden, this happened:
-my lips turned white and I lost color in my face
-I started sweating but was like clammy
-I couldn't really hear, everything was muted like I was plugging my ears
-I had to use the bathroom (#2) like, urgently
My husband continued dressing the wound, helped me to the bathroom, then to bed, and I felt better after about 3 minutes of lying down!.
Was I in shock or something over the sight!? Is that what happens when you're gonna pass out!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you were shocked over the sight of your wound!. You were overwhelmed and started to pass out!.
For any future dressing changes, you need to let your husband handle the task!. If you feel those same symptoms, you need to get your head lower than your heart, example, put your head between your legs or lay down!.

Yup, it's called psychogenic shock, aka, fainting!. Definately let hubby do the dressing changes from now on!. Shoot, what's a man for, if not to take care of you when you're sick!? Good luck, hope you get to feeling better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you were about to pass out!.!.!. I do the same thing!. Cold glass of water and a cool cloth on my head usually helps!.!.!. It was just due to the sight, nothing is wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
