Answers:
It took me 3 months to recover from back surgery and physical therapy!. I had L4/L5 disc removed and have the metal rods in my back!. I must say, post surgery and physical therapy were very painful, but it relieved most of my pain!. Now, it's been 2 years and I'm starting to have pain more and more!. I don't think it's because the surgery was ineffective!. I have degenerative disc disease and have 2 more discs that are bad!. Suggestion: if you do have the surgery, give it your all in physical therapy afterward!. The more walking and stretches you do, the faster your recovery!. Take care and God bless you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Recovery time for a fusion is typically 3 months for short term goals of being able to walk and sleep comfortably without a cane, walker or brace!. Anywhere from 1-3 months of PT is typically required!. Yet, full recovery takes place over a year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
