Question: I have scoliosis and a really bad sciatic nerve, can i still horseback ride!?
My lower back kills me, and i really have no flexibility with it!. Recently i signed up to take horseback riding lessons because ive always wanted to!. But now im thinking about my back pain and if it will affect me riding!.
Will it hurt a lot more!? or would it actually get a little better!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your back kills you during everyday activities, do you really want to get into an activity that has you bouncing onto a relatively hard surface (the saddle)!?

I don't know if it will hurt alot more, but if I were to take a guess, I'd say yes!. I know horseback riding is something I was told to never do after my fusion!. Although you haven't had a fusion, its probably better to keep riding horses on your "I'd be crazy to do this" list!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I also had a fusion 3 years ago and still suffer!. Horseriding is the last thing I would think of doing!. I think you are going to harm yourself if you do!. The hardest thing about it is realizing the things you can no longer doWww@Answer-Health@Com
