Is this normal or will I fail my physical!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have lower back issues too, and I find it really frustrating when my tailbone starts hurting while doing situps, I discovered, though, that doing sit ups on an excercise ball causes no pain at all!. I don't think you'll fail any phisical, because when I got a physical last year, I passed it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it all depends!. It seems that by doing sit-ups you're trying to build abdominal strength but you are probably doing it wrong!. Try doing crunches (doing sit ups works out your hip muscles, the iliopsoas, tensor fascua lata, rectus femoras and the sartoris!. To properly do ab crunch make sure you initiate the movement from your abs and remember the actual range of motion for a proper crunch is only about 30 degrees!. If do you will be putting a strain on your lumbar/coccyx region which maybe why you are experiencing pain!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Three things!. No it's not normal, but it doesn't mean you'll fail the physical!. You need to put a cushion of some sort under yourself!. Some people's bones are naturally more protrudent than others!. Last an old, unmended fracture or a chipped bone may be present from your injury 15 years ago!. It requires checking out with the orthopedist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put your hands under your butt and lift your legs straight as possible!. Another way is to get someone be standing on top of your head!. you laying on your back folding his calfs and when you lift your legs, let him throw em side to side!. rotate!. sit ups are good but not the best!. there are hundreds of other ways to work out abs!. (different ways to support your spine and still get a good ab workout)

I once was told to get abs is 80% what you eat!.

But in your case you have to do a psychical, I don't know!. That is bull, doing regular abs is the worst workout ever!. You should never have your body get used to doing a routine!. You won't gain much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It isn't normal
try streaching it out by crossing your legs and touch your toes and find which leg puts more pressure on that area and hold it for a minute then wait a few minutes then repeat and it may feel betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

put a small pillow there (if you are not on an exercise mat) and take it easy on the situps for a little while!. it's probably the friction of your tailbone against the floor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ya its normal when you do situp or even crunches your body rubs against things like the florr or exercise machine because that were your bending at so you might wanna get a mat or put something behing your tail bone to stop thaty happens to me toWww@Answer-Health@Com

mmm!.!.!.you may have bruised or strained it!. Try not to sit down too hard or do situps on hard ground!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

put a pillow there or something soft and that will make the pain go awayWww@Answer-Health@Com
