Answers:
You could be slightly allergic to the betadine that they use to clean the area!. Try a bit of cortisone cream to calm the rash!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is possible you are allergic to the adhesive on the tape used to hold the needle in place during the donation!.

The adhesive on the tape causes this type of reaction on me and I can barely stand a bandaid!. The welts the adhesive causes is always worse than the wound!

Try using an anti-itch cream on the area!. If you do not have any relief in a few more days, please see your regular physician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is possible that the needle wasnt properly sterilised, i wud suggest rubbing savlon antiseptic cream or other antiseptic cream on it and if it doesnt show signs of improvment, consult your doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com

May well be from the plaster!.!.!.they used to ask if you were allergic to plasters at one time but they don't seem to bother now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
