Root Canel Problems.. PLEASE HELP?!
Question: Root Canel Problems!.!. PLEASE HELP!?
I went in for a root canel on thursday!.!. its sunday night now!.!. and it feels worse then it did before!.!. my jaw hurts the most but i think its beacuse when i close my mouth and try to grit my teeth together its VERY sensitive!. so i try to keep it from touching all day!. even when i try and touch it it hurts really bad!. my cheecks hurt and my jaw mostly until i touch the tooth with my finger, a peice of food, or my top teeth!.!. i really need some help here!.!. i had never had one done before now and i dont know what to expect!. is this normal for recovery or should i go back to the dentist ( which i dont really want too) PLEASE HELP!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

My best guess would be that it is infected!. You need to call your dentist and tell them you are in pain!. More than likely they will call in a prescription for a pain killer and antibiotics!. Then they will probably have you come back in about a week to check it out and file it down a bit if needed, because if it got infected it would have made it swollen and that will keep you in pain!.
As soon as the dentist opens call them!. Those pain killers will numb that pain and you will be able to sleep just fine, but try to chew on the side you didn't have the root canal on for awhile okay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Back to the dentist without a doubt!. It sounds like you have an infection!. In the meantime if you know someone who can give you diahydrocodeine they are excellent painkillers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
This is not normal!. I had a root canal and was only sore briefly and it healed fairly quickly!. You need to go back to your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had this happen and the pain never went away for for years I ended up getting a bone infection!. (NICO) Root cannals are bad for you I reckon!.
