The only way to properly identify a back problem is with a scan!.There is usually not a lot of point in trying to describe pain as it is so subjective but hopefully a scan can actually show any major problems!.
Strengthening exercises can only be a good thing as the above answer states!. Physio, palates and yoga are a great idea and would definitely help weak muscles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pain is probably from sitting in a chair all day!. Be sure to get up and move around frequently, and try taking a walk on your lunch hour!. I know I stiffen up if I sit for too long!. I see a chiropractor once a week also, which feels great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This sounds like you should see a doctor!. Back pain at the base of the spine could be serious and is usually more severe than pain at the top of the back!. It could be repetetive strain or bad posture, but definately worth seeing your doctor or physio just in caseWww@Answer-Health@Com
