i have a tiny wood splinter in my fingr
it is less than a quarter inch long and not too deep, but i dont want to take it out

It could either push its way out when your skin layer regrow or it can get infected!.
I would really try to get it out as the risk of infection is greater than the chance of the splinter coming out by itself!. It won't dissolve :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

wood does not dissolve like that!. leaving it in will cause a moderate amount of pain when pushed on!. it has happened to me!. i had to cut my finger to get it out!. sometimes the skin will push it out but that is only if it is small!. a eighth inch or larger splinter will not be pushed out!. just get it out or risk infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No!. It will not dissolve!. Put a bandaid over it and some neosporin or antibiotic ointment!. In a day or so the splinter will have a bunch of pus around it and will pop right out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It will more than likely get infected or work its way out over time!.!.!.!.!.It would take a really long time to dissolve on the ground even and I dont even know it can dissolve in your body!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
