Question: I have torn 3 ligaments in my knee acl,pcl,lcl is therapy real painful!?
I TORN THREE LIGAMENTS THE STAPLES WILL BE OUT IN IN 5 DAYS THEN I START THERAPY!.
1!. HOW PAINFUL IS THERAPY FOR 3 TORN LIGAMENTS!?
2!.WHAT KIND OF EXERCISES DO THEY HAVE U DO!?
3!.I HAD SURGERY 5 DAYS AGO WHEN DOES THE NUMBNESS START TO GO AWAY!?

Number 3 first, the numbness will take quite a while to clear!. It could take anywhere from six to twelve months to completely resolve!. A cutaneous nerve was cut and it will take time to heal!. The amount of pain is different for each person!. Some people hardly complain at all while others struggle to get through it!. There is no way of knowing this in advance!. Honestly there is going to be some level of pain!. The knee is going to have to be bent and for some that hurts!. As the swelling inside the knee decreases the pain will also drop!. The amount of scarring also plays a part in this!. If there is little scarring then very little pain!. You also have to understand that the injury sustained was large and so was the procedure!. Take your time and don't worry about it!. The first exercises will be to try and get some movement and strength in the knee!. There will be an emphysis on gaining mobility as it is the most difficult to get!. All of this is going to be within your tolerance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Therapy is not painful, but it should feel like you are exercising the muscles!. If any of the exercises you do hurt a lot, tell your therapist, and they should have you discontinue!. If just had surgery, they will not have you use anything heavy!. They will probably just have you move it a lot and use your knee so it does not stiffen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
