Answers:
The pain is coming from the bulge!. The bulge is a pushing of the fluid material in the disc!. It goes through some of the layers of the disc walls!. This pushing outward can impact upon a nerve!. The nerve will transmit pain!. You are in therapy and they should be concentrating on moving the disc material away from the nerve!. The other thing that they should be concentrating on is strengthening the transverse abdominals!. This is a muscle that acts as a girdle as it goes across the lower aspect of the abdominals from bony pelvic protuberance to protuberance!. It is the deepest layer of the abdominals!. If this muscle is not addressed there will never be any real stability of the pelvis!. For pain control use ice on the back for fifteen to twenty minutes per hour!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
