Question: My cut might be infected (please help)!?
This is difficult for me to admit
but I've been cutting for a long time now
and I've always gone as deep as possible!.!.
this time I think I overdid it
I went downward with a clean razor blade when I was drunk
I'm pretty sure I needed stitches but I'm used to dealing with cuts, and scars
anyways!.!.!.it's been 2 days now I've kept a band-aid over it and everything but I'm afraid it's infected
I've hid this from my Mom for a long time, we don't really have the time or money to go to a doctor
any idea how I can prevent the infection!? I have defiantly kept the cut clean it doesn't hurt anymore unless I move my wrist too suddenly
please don't tell me to get psychological help I really don't need that right now!.!.

Take some antibiotics like amoxicillin!. 2 caps per 8 hours!. Thou you will prolly need to get tat fr a doctor!. Unless you have leftover meds from your last visit to the doctor!. You will need to keep the cuts very dry and apply some iodine or disinfectant/antiseptic!. Cover with dressing and gauze!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Drinking and having an OCD such as cutting is not safe!. You can live with your OCD, but drinking and doing so could seriously shorten your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
if the cut is deep then keeping it clean might not be enough to keep it from getting infected!. Try to clean it with rubbing alcohol or peroxide!. Peroxide usually doesnt hurt but it can!. If you think the cut is infected youre going to have to suck it up and go to the doctor because infection can get bad enough to where it can get into your blood stream and trust me you dont want that!. Im not saying you should, but maybe you could make up some kind of story about how you got the cut so she can take you to the doc!. Don't put a band-aid on it!! It needs air! A cut that deep may take some time to heal , trust me i've had expirience!. Treat it twice a day, first of all get some hydrogine peroxide and put it on ( and inside) your cut it'll bubble up and might sting, i've had a cut that it stung really bad but it means it is cleaning out verry well!. The dirtier the cut is the more it's gonna sting!. And dont worrie, It doesn't bubble because its infected thats just what it does to clean!. After the bubbles start to fade just dab the cut to absorb the hydrogine peroxic that is left!. Now put some extra strength or just normal poly sporn on your cut, and put alote!. Don't cover it with a band-aid or it will never heal!. Let it air out and repeat this process!. If you absolutely*** Like I mean really can't used the hydrogine peroxide like if your alergic to it you can also soak your cut in salt water to clean it but it doesnt work quite as well!.
