I have noticed for a few years now my necklaces and now my rings are leaving a bluish black colored mark around my neck and fingers!. I was once told this is because of iron deficiency!. It is good quality, reasonably expensive jewellery so why is this happening!? it has happened with not only the necklace i have now but with the one i had previously!. Im confused!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pure gold is 24 karats, but is too soft to be made into jewelry!. 18 karat gold is only 75% pure gold and still has some kind of harder metal in it to make it harder and more formable into jewelry!. You're probably reacting to the filler material, which could be palladium, nickel, silver, copper or something else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are wearing silver, and have acidic skin, you are getting the result of tarnishing, or silver oxidation!. Silver, especially inexpensive silver, can oxidize on any one's skin!.
Some people have acid skin which makes silver a bad fashion bet!. Others can't wear any jewelry at all because they react to any kind of metal, not matter how precious and supposedly inert!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That happens to me to!. I went to the doctor and he told that I'm allergic to Nickel, which is fake jewelery!. He said try not to wear fake jewelery!. That could be the same thing thats happening to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only time that has happened to me was when an ex-boyfriend bought me fake jewelry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
