What can I do to make New-Skin hurt less?!
Question: What can I do to make New-Skin hurt less!?
Today I had an accident while riding on my electric bike, trying to be eco-friendly and all, so I went to the store and bought this New-Skin spray on Liquid bandage, thinking it'd be more efficient than a flimsy band-aid that would fall off!.
When I sprayed this on one of my many wounds, it burned worse than when I received the wound!. What can I do to make it burn less, when I spray it on my other wounds!?
Thank you in advance for your help!. :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Liquid band-aids shouldn't be used on open wounds!. In fact I think that's mentioned on the bottle!. As you've discovered, it burns really badly when you use it on an open wound!. Leave your wounds alone till tomorrow morning, when they will have scabbed over!. Once they've scabbed, you can apply the liquid band-aid and it should be pain-free!.
If you can't wait, I don't know for sure if this will work, never having tried it, but you could coat all your wounds in neosporin or something similar and then spray the new-skin on!. So it wouldn't be directly contacting the open wounds!. I don't know if it would 'seal' over the neosporin though!. Best bet is wait till they've scabbed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mother used to put Nu-skin on our cuts when I was a kid (liquid from a bottle, not a spray) and it hurt like hell and all you could do was blow on it and jump around!. I tried using it as an adult, thinking that my memories were based on little-kid sensitivities, but discovered that it burned like hell and I had to blow on it and jump around!.
Another responder mentioned the "not on open cuts" rule!. Good to remember! I use Nu-skin when I've got an annoying paper cut that seems to catch on things and start to re-open!. I've never tried it over scabs-- what's the point in that!? Nu-skin is also good on hangnails!. Again, no open wound there and generally, no pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
