I have a schooling question for LPNs, RNs or DONs?!

Question: I have a schooling question for LPNs, RNs or DONs!?
I am thinking about going to school for my LPN or RN but I was wondering if I could even get hired in that field!. I have worked as a CNA for years privately doing in-home care, but have never worked for an agency or facility!. I have a cleft palette so my speech sounds like I have a bad head cold all the time, or perhaps like I'm trying to talk thru a pillow!. So I'm unsure if anyone at a hospital or NH would even remotely consider hiring me, so before I invested into schooling I thought I'd ask around and get some input!. ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Of course you'd be hired by someone!.
Cleft palate doesn't prevent a person from finding work or going to school unless one's speech is so affected it is unintelligible!. You have a resonance problem due to denasality!. If another nurse without a cleft had a cold when interviewing, would she not get the job because she sounded denasal!? I doubt it!.
Nurses are in extremely high demand, and will be for many years!.
Have a little confidence, will you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course they would hire you!. I know a nurse who is anything but the picture of health, diabetic and over 350 pounds and she works!. As an LPN however my advise would be to get your RN!. We all say we will go back and get the RN after LPN but life happens and you just dont!. I wish I had done it all at onceWww@Answer-Health@Com

Nurses are needed more than any other professionWww@Answer-Health@Com

Of course you could get a job in this field!! Go for it!!
