It depends on your metabolism, weight, and tolerance for medication!. A small person with a high metabolism might start to feel the effects in 15 minutes or so!. A larger person or someone with a slower metabolism could wait as much as half an hour to 45 minutes before noticing anything!.
The usual effects for me are feeling as if I'm floating and being a bit dizzy when I try to stand up!. My reaction time is also slowed down so far that I don't dare try to do anything except lay down and sleep!.
Darvocet may hit you completely differently, so be prepared for anything from feeling like you're wading in molasses to feeling hyped and ready to jump out of your skin!. There are just too many factors to be able to accurately predict how you'll respond to the med!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oral medication takes longer and depends on the person!. It can take 30 minutes to a couple hours!. Whatever you do, don't take "more" just because the pain hasn't gone away until the time frame given (like every 4-6 hrs)!. Bad things can happen if you overdose!. If you don't take pain medication on a regular basis, you may feel lightheaded or woozy!. Just relax and don't think about the pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You wont fell loopy you will feel pain relief it will not take the pain away totally, there is no magic pill for that!. Some people have reactions, headaches, tummy ache, even itching!. It takes about 20 minutes before anything starts happening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
my god i take 20 +mg of meds every day!. and i never FEEL anything as far as being stoned or what ever you mean!. i dint like it much anyway i just hate beeing in pain !.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
