Question: Best ways to fall asleep!?!? Pleez help- I need this 2night!!!?!?
How do u fall asleep!? I've been having problems recently!. Either I'm too hot, or my head is clouded with bad thoughts!. I've tried like deep breathing and abdominal breathing and thinking of different memories and things to look forward to!. Also I've tried imagining I'm walking in a place I know!. None of it works good!. I can't stay up all night and watch TV or computer or read or anything- my family is also hear and i can't wake them up!. What should I do!?!? Do not take any pills! First thing you do is make sure your cell, computer, tv , alarm clock!.!.!.!.anything that makes noise or gives off light, shut it off or cover it up!. If you are too hot then make sure you are not wearing socks ( you're feet control your body temperature) and wear shorts and t-shirt!. Also keep you're door open for ventilation or you're window!. All this will help you fall asleep and keep you asleep!. Now you'll be even more likely to fall asleep if you drink a herbal tea of some kind or warm milk before!. Also try a warm bath to get all your musles relaxed!. And if you can do some type of exercise around an hour before you are going to sleep to tire yourself out!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use to have the same problem!. Right before bed I take a shower and clear my head as much as possible!. I lay down every night around the same time except when I'm off!. (like tonight!.) I make sure the room is dark and everything is off!. The only thing I hear is my ceiling fan!. The white noise puts me to sleep!. I don't look at the clock because it only makes it worse!. There is also a natural pill called melatonin!. Take it an hour before you want to sleep!. It will help alot!Www@Answer-Health@Com

relax listen 2 some relaxing music (jack johnson, death cab for cutie, rogue wave,and similar artists)and don't think of anything and if your 2 hot get a fan or less blankets use headphones if your family is there think of something tiring if u can't think of nothing like hiking, running and hopefully you will become more tired feelingWww@Answer-Health@Com

well TV and compuer would make noise, but I would think that reading would be ok!. Usually when its this late and you pick up a book, you'll fall asleep within a few pages!. Keep your window open too (unless you have AC, and its on), and as the night goes on itll get cooler outWww@Answer-Health@Com

you may do the breathing but biofeedback corrects you that's

I've always had an active thought process and the only way for me to fall asleep is to just stop thinking about everything!. If the problem persists maybe you could get a prescription, like Ambien, to help you fall asleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can drink a "Kava" tea!. It's a drug that's legal (not very popular), it puts you in a euphoric state, and if you drink enough you'll sleep like a baby!. It's not like Sleeping pills that require 8 hours of sleep!. This is a more natural remedy to insomnia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was behind in school and stuff
so i had terrible thoughts too
but u have to find out wut the problem is first that is causing u not too sleepp :(

this happens to me alot too!.!.!.i just lay there and put on quite music!.!.it helps if there are no words to sing along too or a song that you dont know!.!.that always helps me!.!.!.hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Just try lying down, trust me!. What you've described happens to me a lot!.!.!.I just lie there for a while so that I basically bore myself to sleep!. It's brutal but it works!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take a Dramamine pill for motion sickness!. The drowsiness side-effect will put you right to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I could not sleep, I used to take tylenol PM or something similar!. They are non habit forming!. Make sure you have a least 8 hours of sleep or you may feel grogy!. Hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
