Sharp pain in the base of my thumb?!

Question: Sharp pain in the base of my thumb!?

I woke up this morning and when I pushed myself up to a sitting position, I had a really sharp pain in the base of my thumb!. It's not always, but every once in a while, if I put pressure on it, I get a really sharp pain!.

I don't know why it'd be like this-I just woke up to it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
