Osteopenic of left femur neck?!
Question: Osteopenic of left femur neck!?
I am a 73 year old female on Fosamax and 1500 mg of calcium a day!.
I recently had bone density test made!. My left spine and left hip are normal but I am osteopenic of left femur neck!. I have joined a Wellness center and am doing some weight bearing exercise!. However due to arthritis around my sciatic I cannot do lower back pressure building!. Is there any other solution!? Can they insert some sort of orthotic in that area!?
I had noticed over the past year I had a pain that was different from my sciatic pain!. Sciatic pain is a pain in the behind!. This was a pain that started on the left side and radiated toward the right across my lower back when I tried to do housework!. It really doesn't bother me when I am doing steady walking or bike riding!. Also when the technician was setting me up for the test when she pressed on my left close to my lower hip I had a soreness!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
