Question: My mum just cut her finger, what do I do!?!
My mother just cut her finger while she was cutting some potato!. It wasn't that big of a deal, but she says it won't stop bleeding!. She's trying to cook dinner and she's not trying to move her hand that much, but I'm afraid of what to do!. I need help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you call 911 for a cut finger I will find out where you are and slap you!. I am a dispatcher, and would not appreciate a call for that! Put a towel around it, have her hold pressure around it with the other hand, raise it up above her heart level and wait!. It will slow the bleeding!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Follow jc's advice!. Do NOT put a tight bandage on it!. You could cut the circulation off to the finger and your mother could get gangrene!. Apply a dressing and pressure!. Keep the original dressing on and just keep adding layers as necessary!. Try not to breathe into the cut or have it get dirty!. This might cause an infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
put pressure on it with a towel but only leave it there until it stop bleeding, other wise u cut of the currculation
