Leg constricting pain!

Question: Leg constricting pain
i've been having a problem with my left leg now for a week or so now!. it started out with my foot, soreness when i woke up!. however, it happens at night now, not the morning!. (jessica, if you answer this, i've been following your advice, but it flip-flop from morning to night!.) but the real problem is that my left leg (just below the knee to my ankle feels like its being constricted, feels like a numbing feeling!. my right leg feels fine, nothing like my left!. i checked to see if my toes have circulation and they do!. they are the same temperature as my right toes and i pinched them and pinched my right toes!. my foot is fine (so it seems) but my left leg is annoying me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mike!.!.!.I wish I was talking to you under better circumstances!.

The symptoms you are describing sound like they might be compartment syndrome!. Because compartment syndrome can turn into an emergency situation you'll want to see your doctor on this one!. If you primary care provider can't figure it out, ask for a referral for a PT!.

!.!.so back to it!. It is "a condition in which increased pressure, within a fixed osseofascial compartment, causes compression of muscular and neurovascular structures within the compartment which leads to pain!." Key signs will be numbness, constriction and the front (anterior) compartment or the deep back (posterior) compartment will feel hard and tight!. It is common with active people!. Gets worse with activity!. May be showing up at night with you because of increased blood pooling and swelling when you are at rest!.

!.!.so bottom line!. You should go see the doctor!.
