For muscle aches, should I use a heating pad or an ice pack?!

Question: For muscle aches, should I use a heating pad or an ice pack!?
Answers:
in general, muscle aches occur when the muscle has been working hard or strained, and then tenses up!. because the muscle is contracted for so long, it starts to hurt!.

first, apply ice for 20 min on and off to stop any potential swelling!. after doing that for like, 2 hrs, to help ease the pain, apply heat to the muscle!. that helps it relax!. [just think about how runners always wear sweatpants, even after a long race!. the sweat would cool down their legs and arms too fast, making them more likely to cramp up!.]

do the exact opposite for joint pain!. thats caused by swollen joints, and when you use those joints, you feel the pain!. if you ice it, the swelling goes down!. [for this case, think of how the cracks in a sidewalk get smaller in the summer!. the heat causes the cement to expand, making less space in the cracks!. and the exact opposite happens in winter!.]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Use a heating pad!. Helps with circulation in and better pain relief!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
