Which is the better chair option for sitting at a desk all day?!
Question: Which is the better chair option for sitting at a desk all day!?
I'm concerned about getting a stiff neck/bad posture!.!.!.I have the choice of a small and slightly padded "breakfast chair" with no arms (think good quality banquet chair) or a big cushy swively desk chair with arms!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The arms make all the difference!. Unless you do hours of core strengthening every day, you'll never have the stamina to sit up straight all day long, and then you'll slouch and get stiffness!. The arm rests let you support your posture without slouching too much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Hello 'deetrosa' :
Forget the "breakfast chair" !.
Sounds like you have a desk job ! Opt for the "big, cushy, swivel chair" !. After all, you're gonna be there for close to eight (8) hrs!. anyway !.!.!. might as well be a 'comfortable' eight hours !
A store like Staples or Future Shop should carry decent computer-chairs !. The price should be anywhere under $200!.00 dollars !. However, there are a lot of ergonomic chairs (for working at a computer/desk) that are of much more expense than that (if you're willing to pay the piper) !
#1 importance is for you to ask for an "ergonomic" chair !. Make sure it has the lumbar support and all the necessary adjustment options for tilting, raising or lowering the height, raising or lowering the chair-arms and adjusting the back-rest!.
You failed to tell readers how much money you're willing to spend, so, I'm just offering my best suggestion!.
Good Luck to You ! in your search for a desk chair !

I work insane hours at a computer, I alternate between a tradional leather desk chair with lumbar support and one of those nifty posture chairs (the kind you kneel on)!. I alternate because the desk chair wears on my back, but the posture chair wears on my knees and legs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'd go with the big, cushioned one!. It'll better support your back and neck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
