Could you strain your back by lifting excessive amount of boxes?!


Question: Could you strain your back by lifting excessive amount of boxes!?
I am going to working twilight shift as a package handler!. From what I hear your lifting around 800 boxes an hour and the trailers can get as hot as 100 degrees!. I understand that this is a great physical work out and if anyone could give any advice that could help me tolerate this work please do so!. I do around 100 push ups a day but I'm not sure if this will prepare me for the work I will be doing!.

Make sure you lift with your knees rather than your back!. THIS IS IMPORTANT!. Keep the packages as close as they can toward your body when your lifting them!.

Bend down on your knees with your back straight and lift it up with your back straight, i know it's harder than lifting with your back but it will save you your back problems when your older!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when you are lifting boxes, make sure you keep a straight back, and only bend your knees!. this will help to avoid back injury!.
