How can I get a fresh burn to stop burning?!

Put it under cold water, a very light stream, for as long as you can stand it!. Then put ice in a zip lock bag and lay it on the area to keep it numb!. If you have some aloe then place it on it if the area is not an open burn, meaning that the skin is just red and not bubbled or open!. If it does bubble try not to pop the bubble!. It will burst on its on in time!. The bubble is your only defense from infection because it is intact and the skin is not open yet!. I know it hurts like heck!. If you have some silverdene ointment in your medicine cabinet from a prescription from an old burn then that will help some!. I have heard that if you put vinegar on a sunburn that it pulls the sting and the burn out!. I don't know if it works on a burn like the one you described!. You can try it but i would have some cold water right beside me when I tried it!. Hope you feel better soon!.

I use a straightener every day!.!.!. as a result, I get burned quite a lot with it!. The best advice I've ever gotten on how to treat a straightener burn is this-
Get an egg, crack it into a cup, and remove the yolk!. put egg white on the burn!. When I burn my fingers, I'll normally just stick them into the cup, but if it's on my arm or something I take a cotton ball and swab the stuff on!. It also prevents the burn from leaving a mark!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep it cold!. Run it under cold water or dip it in an ice bath (Glass of ice water)!.

If it creates a blister that is filled with liquid leave it be and do not pop it!. If the skin is burned off, you need to see a doctor right away!. The doctor will need to prescribe you silvadene cream and teach you how to dress it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
