Question: HELP PLEASE!! im in tears and pain
ok well my doctor said i have swimmers ear but!.!.ive had it before and it has never EVER hurt this bad!. underneath my ear lobe is a hard lump and it goes all the way down to where my jaw starts i guess!?!? there is a sharp pain every once in a while and like!.!.!.my ear beats and there is a lot of pressure!.!.please help im aready taking dropsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Try taking a wash rag and soak it in hot water (as hot as you can stand) then ring it out and roll it to fit on the swollen area!. I would also suggest taking some advil and tylenol!. They are completely different medications and work differently so you can alternate them!. For example you would take Advil every 6-8 hours and you take Tylenol every 4-6 hours!. That means take 2-3 Advil now, then in three hours take 2-3 Tylenol, then in about three hours take the Advil again and then in three hours take the Tylenol!. That way it always stays in your system to manage your pain - it will greatly help!!! My daughter recommends doing this when she has fever so I know that it is safe!.
If your ear doesn't feel better between the drops, warm rag and Advil/Tylenol in 24 hours I would suggest going back to your doctor just to make sure that there isn't anything else wrong!. Or you can even go to a different doctor if you would rather have a second opinion!.

im not a doctor but it sounds like it may pass in time so try taking some painkillers and get some sleep!. idk if this is right but try drying it out alot!. like it, probolly herts cuz yer ear is wet(partially)!. so dry it out with a fan or something!.!.!.maybe clean it out with a cutip and go to sleep!.!.!.maybe the pain will pass!.!.!.
another idea is to go in a plane at high altitude!. yer ear probably started hurtin cuz u went deep under water and the water pushed in!.
so if u go up instead of down maybe the water will go out!.!.!.

ah man that happened to me before well not the lump but i was in alot of pain first time i ever dove to!.!.anyway it turned out i got really sick later on(pink eye and strep throat) so be ready in case it happens otherwise i waited it out and after a weak the pain went away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Find some pain killers and wait it out, there isn't really much you can do in my experience :(

If your already taking drops there isnt much more you can do!.
Take some Advil or aspirin, if your really desperate, chew the aspirin, it will release much faster crushed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you might have a cyst!. im no professional but you should have it looked at again, in the mean time take some aleeve or aspirin for the pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you have fluid in your ears!. I had to get mine drained 3 or 4 times before!. Call your doctor as soon as you can, and if you aren't getting good answers than call a specialist!.

try a heating pad or a warm cloth to help it drain but it sounds bad
