Help for a sore and possibly infected scratch?!

Question: Help for a sore and possibly infected scratch!?
So long story, but this morning I scraped the back of the upper part of my leg pretty damned hard from falling into a hole in a wooden deck!. The scratch is about 5-6inches long, but it didn't bleed or cut open my skin or anything!. I went in the pool afterwards because it didn't hurt so much then!. When i got home I put peroxide on it and washed it and such!. Right now it's really gotten sore and there's a huge bruise that's kind of formed around it, and its a little bit puffy around where the scratch is!. Does it sound like it's infected!? Can it get infected even if the skin wasn't broken!?!? It's really sore and hurts to sit on it!. I'm thinking that I'll go see a doctor tomorrow if the puffyness and soreness isn't better in the morning!. Is there anything I can put on it to numb the pain!? Will tylenol or anything work!? Answers:
Signs of infection are: pus, a bad smell, a yellow or green scab, red lines extending away from the wound, more swelling and redness than there should be, and heat!. Pus or red lines extending away = infection, no other symptoms needed!. Otherwise, at least 2 or 3 of the other symptoms are needed (so some swelling by itself is not an indication of an infection)!.
Right now it does not sounds like your scratch is infected!. The swelling is due to your immune system's inflammatory response!. And some of it is probably from the bruising as well!.
No, you cannot get an infection without broken skin as there's no where for bacteria to enter the body!.
Apply neosporin or another similar ointment!. Neosporin includes an analgesic for pain relief!. You can also ice it, that will help with the swelling and will numb it!. And yes, by all means take some Tylenol!.
