My boyfriend is allergic to bee's !. Any kind ! And i'm scared one day he'll get stung and not have his epepen !. He is the out dorsy type !. He's always hunting or fishing or mowing , Just always outdoors and sometimes he forgets to take the Epe!. and im afraid he'll go up in the woods one day and forget it and not make it back down home in time !. Is there anything he could do if he didnt have it ! Im really scared he'll forget :( !Www@Answer-Health@Com

He needs to review emergency care of bee stings, and learn how to monitor himself for signs and symptoms of anaphylactic shock!.
When he gets stung, he must remove the stinger immediately with a credit card, using a scraping motion!. He should proceed to call 911!. Try to keep him calm, as the faster his heart beats, and the more he moves around, the faster the venom spreads throughout his body!. If the sting sight is on an extremity, he needs to keep it below the level of his heart!.
But all of these things are minor and will only slow a deadly reaction if he truly is severely allergic to bee venom!. As you already know, he NEEDS his epi-pen!.
