Question: One week off work for holiday, now one week off work being ill!.!.!. is it daft to feel guilty!?
Took 7 days off work over last 2 working weeks for a holiday abroad, and now I've come back I've got labyrinthitis and a medical certificate to keep me off work for another 7 days!.!.!. I feel terrible thinking about how much work I'm missing! I work in sales as well, and August will pretty much be written off for me :-( Am I being daft, or am I serious workaholic!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
no your not a workaholic but you obviously care about your job!. Try not to feel guilty I am sure that your employers would rather u took the time off to recover rather than go in to work under the weather!.

Take some consolation in the fact you actually are ill!. This girl at my work recently had a 2 week holiday she has since been off for the last two weeks using a combination of sick days and hols as her boyfriend has dumped her!. Even at work she just sits and cries!. Hope that makes you feel less guilty!.

Hope you get better soonWww@Answer-Health@Com

I knew before I got here that you would be female!!!
We are born feeling guilty and yes you are a serious workaholic lol!
You have been diagnosed with a horrid condition that would make work very difficult so stay at home, get better and be twice as good when you get back!.!.!.!.and STOP feeling guilty!!!!!!!

Don't feel bad about it, this can happen to anyone!.
Labyrinthitus, I know someone who was off for several weeks with this, she had the viral one!.
So, try to relax and enjoy your time away from work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you are off with a sick note with a genuine ailment why should you feel guilty !?
most workplaces have somebody who will sneeze and take a week off and not botherWww@Answer-Health@Com
