Question: Does anybody know how to cure a really bad earache!?
I've been having this really bad earache for the past 2 days and when i lie down it gets so bad that i can't get any sleep!. Went to the doctor and he said it was an infection and gave me some eardrops, antibiotics and painkillers!. It doesn't seem to be working though, I was once again abruptly woken up with this searing pain in my right ear!.
Any tips!? Because i really don't want to see a doctor again :|!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Drip a few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide in the affected ear and lay on the opposite side for a few minutes!. It feels strange, but cooling, and will help kill the bacteria and break up the fluid that is causing the pressure/pain!. Don't leave it in longer than 10 minutes or so, and lay the affected ear on a towel to drain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Whenever air hits the inside of your ear it creates pressure which is part of the reason you feel pain!. For my sons the doctor always has me place a warm washcloth or a cotton ball with a small amount of sweet oil in/on their ears at night to help!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
your nose canal, throat, and ears are all connected, my son had an earache that just wouldn't go away,we did the same as you!.
I know it sounds gross but if you shoot warm salty water up your nose it will loosen any hardened gunk you have in that area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i know it sounds weird, but pour a small bit of luke warm olive oil in your ear, and then put a warm compress on it!. also try some motrin or asprin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Try laying on a warm heating pad or a moist hot washcloth!. I'm sure the meds will be kicking in soon, I hope for your sake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
peroxide or at walmart they have earache stuff its sorta expensive but it helps Www@Answer-Health@Com
