About two months ago I had a mild pain in my knee!. At first it wasn't bad but constant!. Tree days ago I bent down and I have this really bad pain in my knee!. It feels like a pulling and pressure(this has been the same for two months)!. I have also started to have this intense burning sensation!. Oh the pain is on the front of my knee under my knee cap!. Answers:
You might have torn a meniscus by turning your knee the wrong way; and now fluid is building up, causing the intense burning sensation!. It could also cause an infection if something blood-borne gets there and starts to infect the area!. Go see a doctor to get the fluid drained and get a more precise diagnosis!.
There is also a possibility that you have Patello-femoral syndrome!. Patello-Femoral Syndrome (PFS) is the medical name for a condition that causes pain in and around the kneecap!. The patella (kneecap) is designed to move smoothly over a groove on the femur (thigh bone)!. When the patella is not moving or "tracking" properly over the femur, PFS can develop!. This knee problem commonly appears in runners and athletes but non-athletes can also be afflicted!. PFS can strike at any age!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
