Question: Epidural Steroids Injection: is this bad or good for pain relief!?
i have a slipped disc or herniated disc protrusion in my L4-L5 level!.since i cannot afford the cost of the operation, doctor said that have the ESI would ease and be of a lot of help!. i had this twice alrdy last year!.i don't know what will happen if i'll have another sessions this month!.doctor is alrdy recommending to have 3 ESI with 2 weeks interval!.pls help!.thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Damn man!. It looks like surgery may be your best option!. Do you work at a place that is physically demanding to your back!? Also when i slipped my 4 discs i know that my rigorous ab work outs saved my life from lots and lots of pain!. And believe me i know how you feel!. My doctor always told me to keep working out!. Though not like to an extreme you know!? I had a cortozone shot 4 months ago that helped a lot!. Make sure however that you rest a lot during that period!. B/c that is the time that it really tries to heal!. So in summary- Do a lot of core excersises, Rest, And i would honestly get the ESI b/c it helped me a lot!. ( You are never going to be completely healed of it!. Or at least that is what they told me but i was not doing surgery and i think i paid the price for it lol)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Do you know the cost of the injections!? They run about $3,000 a peice!. So; you may want to talk to your insurance about if it would actually help!. My grandmother gets alot of help for her back pain with steriod injections!. I have never gotten any relief from them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sounds like a lot of frequuency to me!. One shot gave me relief for about 3 mos!. Not sure why you'd need to do them so often!. Really good pain relief!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
