Question: Swimmers ear!.!.or something else!?!?
I went to the lake last weekend!.!.!.Its not a sparkling clean lake either!. Its been two days since ive gotten home from the lake!.!.and now both of my ears are killing me!. It feels like I have some fluid stuck in there and my ears throb with pain!. For some reason my throat hurts and I have a little bit of a fever!. Does this sound like swimmers ear!? If not, what else could it be!?

Answers:
Yes, it could be an ear infection, either of the ear canal itself (called otitis externa or "swimmer's ear") or of the eardrum (called otitis media)!. Both cause pain and fever!. It is quite common to feel throat pain with an ear infection (it's called "referred pain")!.

See your doctor - you may need antibioticsWww@Answer-Health@Com
