How can I make my sore muscles go away?!


Question: How can I make my sore muscles go away!?
Yesterday and today I had field hockey tryouts and my muscles are soo sore!. It was four hours long yesterday and four today, and the coaches made us work every single minute of the time!. Some girls even dropped tryouts because they were so sick!. Anyways, we still have to go tomorrow for 2 hours and then friday too for 2 hours!. Today when I got home my muscles were so sore that I could hardly walk, I'm feeling a little better now but I can feel the pain with every move I make!. What can I do to ease the soreness so that I'll be able to do well tom!. at tryouts!? Should I take a warm shower and then stretch!? Any answers would be appreciated, thanks! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to run cross country and the first week was hell-like!. You'll probably cramp up whenever you sit after practice!. I remember getting out of the car was horrible because I could barely get out!. Drink a lot of fluids and get a lot of rest during the night!. That's what I did and I usually felt a lot better by the morning!. Definitely, showers help!. The more you practice, then the more you'll build a resistance to sore muscles and thirst!. Use ice if if you have sore muscles as well!. Field hockey sounds cool the by way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your muscles are so sore because they are tearing!. Everytime you work out your muscles rip then repair themselves, thats how they grow!. It sounds like you have not used them the way you have in the last few days for quite sometime!. You can stretch, ice them or take a hot bath but they will probably hurt for about 3 days until they repair themselves!. Once your in shape the pain will go away!. Also , drink lots of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

stretch the sore muscles and put an ice pack on it!.!.rest & don't exercise for a few days!.!.or don't overwork the muscle & drink plenty of water & eat proteins

take a cold shower instead!.!.!.

the afore mentioned answers are great , but make surew u are eating properly too!.!. low potassium can cause cramps so make sure you are gettin enough potassium by eating fruits and veges! banans are great for potassiumWww@Answer-Health@Com
