Pierced ear is swollen and red?!
Question: Pierced ear is swollen and red!?
I got my ear pierced (left ear) about 3 weeks ago and i woke up today and found out that my left ear was red and swollen!.!.!.does my ear have an infection!? Ive also been cleaning my ear about 2 times a day with rubbing alcohal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a doctor visit isn't neccasary in my opinion i have eight holes in my ears all done at home and you may be alergic to the metal try changing the earing to real gold or a sensitive ears earing and see if that helps you may have caught it or slept on it and caused it to swell if you keep cleaning it you should be fine if it doesn't stop hurting take the earing out for awhile than and leave it out for a couple days than if it isn't better you should ask a doctor, good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
best to go to dr as it is infected !.you have catridge in your ear !.sometimes when piece your ear !.it causes it to react !.plus you slept on it !.if you dont get it out will cause more problems !.dr will give you antbodices for the infection !.at the store where you got it pieces !.they give you a bottle to put on it four to six times a day !.mine did this !.i took mine out !.you have catridgein your ears causeing you not be able to pieces a certain spot !.try a another spot on your ear next time !.or try thoses clip on ones i know it hurts !.but antbodices will help it an lot to feel better !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
First thing's first!. Take out the earring!. Then clean your ear with peroxide, apply neosporin and go to a doctor!.!.!.you may need an antibiotic!. The piercing will heal up!. After it heals and you re-pierce it, turn your earring posts twice daily, and wash it with antibacterial soap in the shower!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
maybe you just slept on it!? it happens to me alot too, just be sure to clean it right after you wake up, i would say!. i hope i helped:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
