Question: Bruises that won't heal
In the last couple of months I've noticed that I'm bruising very easily!. I have multiple bruises that I'm not even sure how I'm getting!. Also it seems that it takes forever for any of them to heal!. I've never bruised easily before!. Has anything similar ever happened to anyone!? Is there a reason for this or a way to prevent it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are many causes for easy bruising, which is bleeding under the skin!. A few of the most common causes are:
- taking oo much aspirin/ibuprofen
- birth control pills
- eating too much fish
If you are taking too much aspirin/ibuprofen, switch off to Tylenol, which doesn't have the same effect on your clotting!.
Because there can also be underlying medical conditions, I suggest you see your doctor for a thorough exam with some lab tests to rule out any more serious conditions!.

My friend bruises very easily, but she has hemophilia!.
Also my cousin had this problem, but her bruises would come back in the same spot!. We recently found out she has cancer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There could be any number of causes, so I would bring this up with a doctor!. Typically, most bruises last about a week, depending on the severity!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
