Question: I have a workman's comp case and the adjuster is not returning calls or authorizing doctors!.
it has been three months!. i haven't received and benefit checks yet!. i am represented but like i said, the adjuster will not return calls or authorize treatment any more!. i need income to keep my bills paid and not lose property!. i live in georgia and friends told me to go on disability!. i want to do things legally and feed my family!. the job i had terminated me and dept of labor denied my benefits!. what kind of help is out there and if anyone knows of a work online job that isn't a scam, please let me know!. i am at my wits end and getting very depressed and scared!. thanks Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am afraid that the only way things are going to move is with you getting a lawyer!. The adjuster has no interest in you or your case except to keep it from proceeding or denying it!. I wish there were another way for you!. Most states have the amount that the lawyer can take set at a certain amount!. That is the good part but the bad part is that it will be taken for as long as you are on workman's compensation!. You are better off on the workman's compensation than on disability!. Since the case is over three months check with the state regulations about any restrictions that there might be in seeing a doctor!. A lot of states allow you to pick your own doctor after a certain amount of time, and you are at or have passed what most states require!. The only one that can give you all of this information is the state and a lawyer!. If you seek help from a lawyer make sure it is with one that does nothing but workman's compensation cases!. Get a lawyer post-haste!!!! These people are ruthless!. Your lawyer will deal with the adjuster for you and will get you better results than you could get on your own!. And don't worry about paying him or her!. There is a set percentage they can take, and I think only after they win for you!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any Workman's comp case in the USA has an Arbitration committee thru their insurance carrier!. Use them as they are a neutral party!. ONce people know you are going to the Arbitration Committee, you should get responses and these benefit people will try to do anything NOT to pay you a cent, but they also SO NOT want to explain their actions or Lack of action on your case!. Also see if you can talk to the supervisor of the company!. Write down all contacts with dates, times and names RIght now the insurance co is in violation for refusal to provide necessary medical care!.!. They will see you are paying attention!. ALso you can on top of this send a Certified, Return Receipt Requested to that person representing!. They will have to sign for the letter and there is your documentation that They received your letter!. Best of lucK! I know how hard these ins!. co!. can be!.Went thru all this garbage when I broke my back at work!. Hang in there! It will be worth it, even if you cant pay bills right now!.!. ALSO- Apply for Food stamps!.
