I know its very inconvenient for you, but I would say they are packed like this to make them childproof!.

Could you get somebody to put them in a pill box for you every now and then so you wouldn't have so much trouble getting them out!.

Hope that helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mine are inside a box which then have them on a blister card which you push the individual tablet out of!. Originally they were in capsule form now they are a kind of flat tablet!.

Either have always been this way!. I prefer the capsules but I guess at present the NHS/Pharmasists have a contract and this company has them at available price that fits in with the budget(and if they are doing what they are supposed to)they'll stay that way!.

It's possible that if you have a word with the phamacy that you get your medication from and tell them of your problems, they may be able to help in some way(such as putting them into a container that easier for you to use!?)Or if you are getting them in a container give you them in a similar way to me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If they are dispensing them into a child proof bottle that's why you can't open it!. Those things are a nightmare at the best of times!. Have you tried asking your pharmacist if the capsules come in a blister pack!? Make sure you tell the pharmacist that you need them to be in an openable container! If all else fails, get someone else to put them into a pill box or another container for you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably to make the packaging childproof!.
Also, I wonder why when you look at the packaging you think that you are going to get a huge capsule, only to find that they are quite smallWww@Answer-Health@Com
