First of all, you must have been in HORRIBLE pain, because dilaudid is stronger than morphine!.
And yes, many of my patients (I worked in an army hospital for a while), would become addicted to the hospital!. It was common practice for us to ween people off of the dilaudid instead of taking them of cold turkey!.
It will pass in 3-5 days, don't worry, just fight through it!. Don't call work/school and say you are healthy yet though!. Keep a phone near you at ALL times, just in case you get weak and collapse or start vomiting and can't get up though!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is addictive my son was in a childrens hospital and they gave that to him for 9 days in a pump and took him off the day he left the first 2 days home he was sick and fidgetty ect he said it was the worst feeling ever be careful good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
