Question: Can pain above the right eye be caused by sinus problems!?
For the past week I have been (sorry this is sort of gross) blowing my nose and getting green mucus!. I have no fever, I am not sick!. I just have phlegm and green mucus (the phlegm is clear)!. Then, yesterday, I started to have this pain above my right eye!. It's this dull pain!. It irritated my eye and it caused it to water, and made seeing out of it annoying!.
I'm not sure if the two conditions are related - at times, I stay on the computer too long, read too many books, and watch TV in close range, but I'm not sure what the green mucus is about !.!.!.

if its green mucus you need to see your gp as this is an infection in the sinuses, i suffer badly from this my self, it can spread into your ears jaw line and above and below the eyes, it can also cause swelling around the eye its not at all pleasant and i can sympathize with you, you can try getting a cloth holding it under hot water and using this as a compress on all the sinus points as mentioned this will help to loosen it, also antihistamine tablets can help, if you are experiencing the headache that goes with it syndol for tension headaches are good, some of the over the counter remedies are ok providing you just have the build up symptoms and not the infection, also sleep with your head slightly raised up, Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds like a sinus infection!. You will need some antibiotics from your dr!. to clear it up!. You can try taking Sudafed for a few days if you want to avoid the dr, but if the green mucous doesn't clear up, you will need to go in!. The pain above your eye is most likely sinus pain!. You can feel it above your eyes, and also above your cheek bones!. Sinus infections don't really cause fever and you don't have to be sick to get them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Green mucus= infection!. I learned this from my doctor a long time ago!.
It sounds like you have the start of a sinus infection if you are having pain directly above the eye--this is one of the sinus cavities!.
I would make an appointment with your doctor to get this checked out!.

Pain over the eyes is common with sinus pressure and it is annoying and painful!. Lots of times I put a hot compress over my sinuses and sometimes that easiest the pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
