Question: Peritonsillar abscess recurrence in throat!?
i had a peritonsillar abscess in my throat and i just got over it, and im getting my tonsils out in a year or less so that it doesnt recur after that, but im just wondering what the chances of the abscess recurring in the next year again before i get my tonsils out are!.!.i know its a pretty high recurrence rate but i just want to know if it is most likely to happen again within a year!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually not everyone has a high rate of recurrence!. It really depends on your anatomy!.
Since an abscess of this type usually occurs in relation to an episode of tonsillitis I guess the real question is how often you get tonsillitis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
