My throat real hurt what should i do ?!

First, get a good hand mirror and look at the back of your throat!. If you see white pus pockets, you probably have strep throat and you need antibiotics from the doctor!. But if it is just red, gargle with warm salt water(use table salt, but not too much)!. Then spray every couple of hours with Chloraseptic spray from the store!.The spray numbs immediately, and your throat should be better soon!. Also, if you do have strep throat, the salt water & spray routine plus antibiotics works!.Strep is contagious, so put a little bleach in your dishwater and throw away your toothbrush and get a new one!. You could gargle several times a day with warm salt water and use some throat lozenges!. Also take whatever pain medication you normally take such as Advil or Tylenol!. If your sore throat is not better in a few days, especially if you develop a fever, see your doctor, it could be strep infection which requires an antibiotic!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
