Question: We Think My Boyfriend Has A Hernia!?
I'm 14 and my 15 year old boyfriends mom thinks he has a hernia!.!.!.what is a hernia!?!.!.!.and i know you have to have surgery but whats things that could go wrong with the surgery!?!.!.!.and could he die!?

A hernia is a weakened spot in a muscle that allows the protrusion of internal organs!.
As with ALL types of surgery, there is a risk of having a adverse and sometimes fatal reaction to the anesthesia, hemorrhaging or blod clot, etc!. etc!.
Once again, as with ALL surgeries, there is a risk of dieing!.!.!.some pose a greater risk than others!.!.!.hernia repair is not one of them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
