I really need to know but am unable to find any information on this: Is it true that in NYC you are required to have health insurance or you can be put in jail!? My boyfriend is not going to be a student as of next month and will lose his health insurance!. If he is caught (e!.x!. needs to go to the hospital for a broken bone) without it could he really go to jail!? Thanks Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it is like that!. Here in MA you have to have health ins!. You cannot even file taxes unless you have ins!. I think it is mandatory, but you won't go to jail!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
